And the sun shone on our new priests

And the sun shone brightly on our six of our new priests for the Huddersfield Area when they became the first priests ordained into the Church of England by the first Bishop of Huddersfield, the Rt Revd Dr Jonathan Gibbs.

The service was held at St Peter's Huddersfield with the vicar of Huddersfield, the Revd Canon Simon Moor and the Archdeacon of Halifax, the Ven Dr Anne Dawtry.

The six ordained are:  Stephen Rochell, who serves the United Benefice of Hartshead, Hightown, Roberttown and Scholes;
