Architects
PCCs are expected to consult with their inspecting architect or surveyor on all works that affect the fabric of their church so a good working relationship with him or her is vital. PCCs engage the person, not the architectural firm, so should your architect or surveyor retire, you will need to find another architect or surveyor for your church who may be from a different firm. The DAC encourages all churches who are looking for a new architect or surveyor to go through a competative tendering process.
