A day arranged by the Ripon Support Group of the Anglican Centre Rome: promoting Christian unity in divided world with Dr Keith Jones – Guide and historian of Markenfield Hall and The Revd Dr Callan Slipper - National Ecumenical Officer for the Church of England and Dr Gregory Ryan – Department of Theology and Religion, Durham University

Saturday 26th October – the morning is spent at Markenfield Hall, the afternoon in Thorp Prebend, Ripon
10.30am - Coffee/tea
11.00am - Guided tour of the Hall and the History of the Rising of the North
1.00pm - Packed lunch at Thorp Prebend
1.45pm - “Religious Identity Today” – The Revd Dr Callan Slipper & Dr Gregory Ryan
4.00pm - Visit and Prayers at Ripon Cathedral, walk to Market Place

Cost £20 including entrance to Markenfield and morning and lunchtime coffee/tea
Contributions to the work of the Anglican Centre welcome
