Register with the PGS

All the documents you need can be downloaded below.

During the current Coronavirus situation PCC's can continue to register with the PGS by following the steps below:


  1. PCC discusses the PGS and considers its benefits. Download PowerPoint presentation & Parish Implementation Handbook below to aid discussion.

  2. PCC passes a resolution to join the Parish Giving Scheme. Download PGS-PCC Resolution Form (optional)

  3. PCC  representative to complete all sections of the PGS Registration Form ( except signatures - see note below.*)  Download Registration Form below 

  4. PCC returns completed PGS Registration Form (with parish's bank account pay in slip) to Diocesan PGS Representative. Contact details on form 

  5. Completed PGS registration forms  validated and forwarded on to the PGS team in Gloucester for processing. 

  6. PGS team processes registration forms ASAP. This may take a few days depending on the volume of forms received from the Diocese.

  7. Church's nominated PGS Statement Receiver receives a Welcome email from the PGS team 

  8. PGS registered church receives allocation of PGS Resource Packs from Diocesan PGS Representative. When Coronavirus situation allows


*NB.  During the current Coronavirus situation Parish representatives do not need to provide signatures on the PGS Registration form but instead individually email janet.edmond [at]  expressing their approval for the parish to register for the scheme.
