A group from the Diocese of Leeds are preparing for a trip to Sri Lanka on 6th February, to visit the church there and connect with the link dioceses of Colombo and Kuranegala. Throughout their trip, the group will be sharing their journey in a daily video diary and here is the first one. Take a look to meet the team who will be travelling in February and hear about what they are most looking forward to. Make sure to stay tuned for further video diary entries from the team, which will appear once they arrive in Sri Lanka on 7th February. Following the team's trip their will be a Sri Lanka Awareness Day on Saturday 25 April. This will provide an opportunity to find out more about the link, hear from those who went to Sri Lanka and remember the country one year on from the terrorist attacks. Find out more here.
The Rainbow Junction Cafe opened its doors in 2014 as part of The Real Junk Food Project network, at All Hallow's Church, Leeds. This Christmas they are continuing their work to reduce food waste, feed hungry people and build community. It is one of the ways that All Hallow's Church is serving it's community in Leeds during the Advent season.
